We all need immunizations (also called vaccines or shots) to help protect us from serious diseases. To help keep our community safe, Moore On Health is proudly participating in National Immunization Awareness Month by getting the word out.

Remember that May was Hepatitis Awareness Month

and SAMHSA is joining CDC and others in urging two groups of people to get tested for hepatitis C (HCV):

  1. Those born between 1945 and 1965 (rates of infection in this group are five times higher than in other adults in the U.S. population);
  2. Those who have engaged in high-risk behaviors, such as injection drug use.
